Security

How we protect your account, your calls and the information we hold about your service.

Encrypted connections

Traffic between your devices and Loopcom travels over encrypted connections, and the portal is served over HTTPS only.

Access control

Permissions are set per person, so your team sees what they need and administration stays with the people who should have it.

Fraud protection

International dialling is blocked by default, and we watch for the calling patterns that indicate a compromised extension.

Caller ID protection

Numbers can only be presented where ownership has been established, which prevents your account being used to spoof someone else.

Separated accounts

Every customer’s configuration, directory and call records are kept separate.

Change history

Administrative changes to your configuration are recorded, so it is possible to see what changed and when.

Information about your calling

Details of the service you buy and the calls you make are protected under federal rules for telephone companies, known as Customer Proprietary Network Information.

  • We use it to provide, support and bill for your service
  • We do not sell it
  • Access inside Loopcom is limited to staff who need it
  • We verify who you are before discussing your account
  • You can ask what we hold and how it is used
